Great build quality, very sturdy and solid. As described it requires a USB adaptor for power and it should be noted that the control mechanism lights up bright blue when the lamp is off so it's easy to find in the dark. I would say it's slightly too bright for my liking but it's functional and that's what's most important. There are three different colour settings for the bulb and the brightness is adjustable.

Looks exactly like the photo. Very pleased. Be careful to screw the stand part of the lamp in properly! I had it at an angle and it was very difficult to fix.
